A 1920s house in Tampere was renovated with respect for the original construction period. ABL-Laatat will always provide ceramic tiles that respect history with modern twist.
In this old house built in 1926 in Juhannuskylä, Tampere, there is a beautiful apartment that was renovated with respect for the old. The colors of the paints, tiles and wallpaper were selected inspired by the structures and layers found during the demolition work, as well as breathable materials suitable for the old log house. Two new bedrooms and a bathroom were built in the attic of the apartment. The staircase leading there was designed and placed in the living room so that it would enable optimal furniture placement and at the same time be a beautiful decorative element in the space.
