We have signed an agreement with Edelstahl-Schwimmbad- und Metallbau GmbH, and ESM steel swimming pools will be included in ABL's sales and representation starting spring 2024. The client wanted to create a spa-like facility that combines the needs of local residents with a focus on tourism,” explain Project Architect Sami Logren and Interior Architect Maiju Koskela from Studio Puisto Architects Ltd.

The facades of Espoo's Hepokorpi electrical substation are clad with fusion-glazed ceramic facade tiles, designed by Kivinen Rusanen Architects. The new substation in Hepokorpi, Espoo, is an extraordinary project in many ways. Once completed, it will be Finland's largest electrical substation, serving multiple roles: ensuring energy security, powering a data center, and contributing to a process that utilizes the data center's waste heat for district heating production. “The design of this substation required addressing and solving a variety of process-related elements, far more than in the design of a conventional substation,” explains architect Tuomas Kivinen of Kivinen Rusanen Architects.
