There are many moving parts in a builder’s and renovator’s projects and decisions need to be made constantly. Once the house is drawn and a building permit obtained, it’s time to select tiles for your project.
In the consultation meeting we look at the floor plans, the style of the project, the color scheme and the images of the existing materials together – these are good starting points for choosing tiles.

Yksityisasuntojen uima-altaat ovat yleistyneet todella paljon viime vuosien aikana, ja samaan aikaan taloyhtiöiden tyhjillään olleita vanhoja uima-altaita on alettu taas ottamaan käyttöön. Oma allasosasto on asumisen luksusta.
Millaisia pohjatöitä sisäuima-allas vaatii ennen laatoitusta?
Ennen pohjatöiden aloitusta tulisi varmistua, että alusta on kunnossa. Vanhoissa altaissa on tarkistettava, ettei betoni ole päässyt rapautumaan ja uusissa altaissa, että valutyöt ovat onnistuneet kunnolla. Heikko betonin pintakerros, sementtiliimat ja muut epäpuhtaudet poistetaan. Alustan tulee olla riittävän vahva ja puhdas ennen pohjatöiden aloittamista. Tavallisia märkätilatasoitteita ei voida käyttää, vaan on valittava uima-altaisiin suunnitellut allaslaastit.
Altaissa on useita läpivientejä, esimerkiksi venttiilejä ja valoja. Ennen vedeneristyksen aloitusta kaikki läpiviennit tulee valmistella huolellisesti. Läpivientien tulee olla laipallisia tai niihin rakennetaan laippa epoksilaastilla, jotta vedeneriste voidaan liittää tiiviisti läpivienteihin. Allaslaastitoimittajalta saa tarvittavat ohjeet ja detaljipiirustukset liittymien toteutusta varten. Tämän jälkeen päästään aloittamaan vedeneristystyöt. Altaaseen levitetään sementtipohjainen vedeneristyslaasti yhtenäisenä pintana aina allashuoneen lattiapintaan asti huomioiden tarvittavat vahvikenauhat. Kun vedeneristys on kuivunut, aloitetaan laatoitustyöt.
ABL Leikkaamo toteuttaa vaativatkin mittatilaustyöt
ABL Leikkaamo on suunnittelijoiden toteutusapuna erilaisissa rakennus- ja sisustusprojekteissa sekä vaativimmissakin toteutuksissa. Työn hedelmiä saatiin ihailla ABL Artesan x Samuji Designer -näyttelyssä 2016.
Samuji Housen Erottajankadun myymälässä oleva näyttely esittelee, mitä tapahtuu, kun laatta-artesaanille ja suunnittelijoille annetaan vapaat kädet - eli suunnittelijat, joiden materiaaleina on yleensä kangas ja paperi, ovatkin nyt tarttuneet keramiikkaan ja luonnonkiveen, laatta-artesaanin tärkeällä avustuksella. Lopputulos on jotakin, mitä tällä saralla ei ole ennen nähty.
