ABL Countertops have Finnish Work’s Key Flag Symbol
The Association for Finnish Work awarded ABL-Laatat with Finnish Work’s Key Flag Symbol as a recognition of a product made in Finland. Our ceramic countertops are manufactured with Finnish handicraft at ABL Cut Studio in Siltamäki, Helsinki.
The popularity of ABL ceramic countertops has grown strongly: ceramics are a durable and natural material with strong technical properties and a beautiful, natural appearance. This is causing more and more people to choose ceramics as the material for kitchen countertops. Now our countertops have a Key Flag Symbol as a recognition of it's Finnish origin and its contribution to Finnish work.
- It is important for us to be a pioneer and continue on the path of growth. High-quality and natural products, long-term partners and the development of our services support this goal. It is important to us that production is in Finland and we can increase domestic jobs, says Henri Forsman, CEO of ABL-Laatat.

According to a survey by the Association for Finnish Work the Key Flag brand is quite well known: 75% feel that Key Flag has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. The acquisition of a domestic product is perceived as a social influence and a choice of values that promotes Finnish competitiveness and well-being.
– The key flag has a positive image of domesticity, reliability, security, responsibility and employability, says Reetta Mentu, the Association for Finnish Work.
The Association for Finnish Work strives to increase appreciation for Finnish work and to ensure the prosperity and success of Finnish work.
