Restaurant Bardot, Helsinki

ABL-Laatat - referenssit - projektit - ravintola Bardot

Bistro & Brasserie Bardot was opened in Kluuvikatu 1, Helsinki's city center. The restaurant was built on a nearly 150-year-old commercial space. Completed in 1883, the arches on the street floor of the neo-Renaissance Grönqvist house create a natural historical setting for the 80-seat French-style restaurant.

“Along with the portions, the atmosphere is an important part of the restaurant experience, and I know that French warmth and love in the midst of a Finnish autumn storm and slush sounds challenging. However, I am more than excited about the look we have planned for the restaurant, so the setting for an excellent food experience will be set", Hans Välimäki said in the restaurant's press release.

Fyra is responsible for the design and look of the restaurant, and they have also created the magnificent look of Hans Välimäki and Arto Rasta's first joint restaurant, Restaurant Penelopé. Fyra designed custom made mosaics for Bardot and how to lay them. Mosaics and tiles from ABL-Laatat.
